Smart Parking Solution for the Expo Campus in Hanover

At the Expo Campus Hannover, the challenge was to efficiently manage the rapidly increasing demand for parking space around the world's second largest exhibition center as well as the adjacent new construction projects such as the micro-apartment building with 368 residential units. A parking solution was required that not only created sufficient parking spaces, but was also user-friendly, digital and sustainable.

With the new construction and commissioning of a modern parking garage with 151 parking spaces, PRM has implemented a solution that meets all requirements. The innovative free-flow parking system with license plate recognition enables barrier-free entry and exit, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic, especially at peak times. The digital payment option via smartphone or traditional payment methods ensures maximum flexibility, while fair rates of 2.50 euros per hour or a maximum of 15 euros per day make the offer attractive. The parking garage is open around the clock, offering convenience to trade fair guests, residents and visitors alike. Thanks to the successful mediation of the Aptum Group on behalf of DIE WOHNKOMPANIE NORD GmbH, PRM was able to win the bid in a two-stage selection process and secure the long-term operation. The project thus contributes to sustainable and future-proof parking space management in Hanover.
