Denn's organic market Radolfzell

Denn's Biomarkt is a Germany-wide chain store for organic food, clothing and cosmetics in organic quality. Denn's operates one of its stores in Radolfzell on Lake Constance. The retailer's parking spaces are of course primarily intended for its own customers and employees, but are unfortunately also used to a not inconsiderable extent by third parties.

The challenge was to capture and organize the wide range of customers in this parking area. As Radolfzell is a tourist hotspot that is particularly busy at certain times (especially at weekends and during school vacations), it is almost impossible to prevent tourists from using the parking lot. However, the digital license plate recognition system installed and operated by PRM enables flexible parking space management in this area, which can adapt to these challenges. In addition, it is important for the retailer to be able to permanently monitor and analyze the use of the parking space. In addition to the parking times and duration, the regions of origin of the parked vehicles can also be evaluated. For example, it is possible to analyze whether the vehicles currently parked can be assigned to local customers or national tourists. Data protection is of course guaranteed.

PRM relied on transparent communication and good signage for parking management in the Denn's parking lot right from the start. Even new customers generally understand the basic principles of parking space management in this area immediately. Thanks to its fair implementation, the system is very popular with both store operators and their customers.
